As an independent webmaster working part time for companies:

My going rate has been $16 per hour. I am typically paid on a 1099, no withholdings on your part. I collect things to do by email as my in basket, then block out time to get them all efficiently done.

Here are general time estimates based on the hourly rate, you can determine what your site will cost. Once it is built, it is your company asset that you can now be proud of and grow with.

• 20 hours can get a full modern code, website build out of a new or replacement site can run 20 hours for a strikingly beautiful site that reflects you, and a very technology capable site
• 40 hours can get a full build out as above, plus several tools such as inquiry forms with fields to visitor contact easy, Facebook widgets, Twitter widgets, and instruction on how to post your own information with content and photo pages.
• 5 to 10 hours per month can keep your site as active as you choose, with my input, or simple and affordable updates.

We can host the site on our server, or yours.

Let us know what you choose. There is typically a domain cost of around 9 dollars a year, and a hosting fee that can run around 20 per month. I would need access to the server control panel for database additions and management. These sites are driven by an open source, (free of charge) and well supported software. It does require occasional updates.

We can provide any additional services as needed

such as selection of Domain Name with keyword volume research, as well as registrar recommendation if you do not have one. We can also recommend other hosts with capability, as well as our server for hosting is available at $20.00 per month for a highly capable Apache/Linux Server. (Email is included with our server, but if you send a lot of attachments back and forth, we recommend a gmail or yahoo account as well for extensive file sharing.)
